Many ways have been devised of heating rooms or buildings as effectively and economically as possible. Now, as never before, has it been so simple to enjoy sumptuous warmth everywhere. Because electricity can be converted into heat with hardly any losses, it provides a truly cost-effective solution. Moreover, electric heaters do not produce any emissions where they are being used, and so therefore do not need flues.
Point of use heating.
Electric direct-acting heating systems offer lots of benefits and pleasant comfortable temperatures. In terms of economy too they are second to none. Power can be converted into warmth with almost no efficiency losses. With an efficiency of 100% the warmth is generated exactly where you need it. Direct warmth avoids losses through long distribution channels. Fuel doesn't have to be paid for in advance and the costs for maintenance and cleaning are extremely low - a power socket is all it takes.

Which heater or combination of heaters is the right choice for your particular needs depends, in the first instance, on how a room is to be used. You can approximate the size and output of the appliance you require by looking at the sizing table. As a rule of thumb, you should base your choice on the sizes and values given below:

CNS wall-mounted convectors.

The spray water protection IP 24 and protective insulation allows the unit to be mounted in the bathroom. These units are ideal for use in homes, bathrooms and offices.
Fan operated convectors.
Fan heaters operate with a built-in blower which increases the air circulation. The model CBS 20, the new wall-mounted fan heater is particularly well suited for use for full heat in a large bathroom or as an auxiliary or inter seasonal heater for the guest room, family room or study. Its infinitely variable thermostat is an ideal extra, giving you the capability to set the temperature to the precise level you wish to have in the room. It is also has a VDE and radio interference protection marking and has spray water protection. It can be fitted into the smallest of spaces due to its compact size. Fast and cost effective heat, it surely can't be any better than this, as it can provide rapid heating almost anywhere. The model CK 20 has a modern styling.
Bathrooms and outdoor areas.
Our luxurious IW 12 and IW 20 infrared quartz heaters give off soothing warmth immediately after being turned on and direct it to those areas where it is needed. You can use the swivel-mounted reflectors to guide the heat to the zones you want heated up most. Three heating stages are available on the IW 20. Safe and spray water protected you can use the infrared quartz radiator in your bathroom.
