Modern Storage Water Heaters - From STIEBEL ELTRON...
In every household there are several draw off points, where hot water is required quickly in relatively small quantities, for example at a kitchen sink or wash basin, our space and energy saving point of uses heaters are just the right choice.
Decentralized Water Heating.
Decentralized water heating means putting the water heater exactly where the water is required - at the sink, at the wash basin, next to the shower or close to the bath. This means that pipe runs are kept to a minimum reducing those long waits for hot water to come through, so valuable water is not wasted. The water temperature can be set individually at each outlet to ensure the water is heated in the most economical way. Not only is this a simpler system, and more practical, it is also good for the environment as it saves on energy and water consumption. Another advantage of decentralized water heating is that the appliances are easier to install or replace : this can be very important if you are refurbishing older properties. A wall socket (15 amp), a water pipe or a cold water draw-off point are sufficient for the installation. This saves time and effort.
Under Sink or Over Sink Versions : The Choice is Yours.
You have got the choice between 5 and 10 litre small water heaters, which may be installed invisible under the sink or in the cupboard. The other alternative are 5, 10 or 15 litre over sink heater models which can be installed above the sink or directly in the shower. Depending on your application, whether single point or multi point, we have non-pressure and high pressure units. The water tanks are made of polypropylene with the SN....S type water heater, and of copper with the SH.....S version. Therefore the anode for the protection of the corrosion is not necessary. Both are everlasting.
There is no doubt that water is a precious South African commodity, it's future scarcity has been well documented. Similarly, electricity is going to get more expensive. These units creates the ideal solution for your decentralized warm water supply, regarding the economic as well as the ecological aspects.
