Different types of elements used in instantaneous water heaters
Back to Article Index...The water in the instantaneous water heater is warmed up either by a tubing
heating element system or by a bare wire heating system.
Instantaneous water heaters that use a tubular element heating system:
- Hydraulically controlled instantaneous water heaters type DHF and DHC.
The following instantaneous water heaters have a bare wire element heating system:
- Electronically controlled instantaneous water heaters type DHE & DEL.
- Electronically controlled instantaneous water heaters type DHB-E.
- Hydraulically controlled instantaneous water heaters type DHB.
All high pressure instantaneous water heaters from Stiebel Eltron are pressure rated to 1000kPa (10Bar).
