Different types of elements used in instantaneous water heaters

The water in the instantaneous water heater is warmed up either by a tubing heating element system or by a bare wire heating system.

Instantaneous water heaters that use a tubular element heating system:

  • Hydraulically controlled instantaneous water heaters type DHF and DHC.

The following instantaneous water heaters have a bare wire element heating system:

  • Electronically controlled instantaneous water heaters type DHE & DEL.
  • Electronically controlled instantaneous water heaters type DHB-E.
  • Hydraulically controlled instantaneous water heaters type DHB.

All high pressure instantaneous water heaters from Stiebel Eltron are pressure rated to 1000kPa (10Bar).
