SHD100 Instant Storage Water Heater
Our closed (pressurized) wall-mounted "Instantaneous / Storage" water heaters SHD30S and SHD100S are suitable for supplying hot water to several outlets. For small quantities needed it works as a storage heater with 3.5 kW heating, for large quantities it works as an instantaneous water heater with 21 kW. The temperature can be set infinitely variable from approx. 35°C up to 85°C. Both units have a very efficient energy-saving CFC-free thermal insulation and a Corrosion protection "Anode" which draws hot water corrosiveness to itself first before it attack's the tank. The anode needs to be replaced (or serviced) when a "Service Anode" light comes on, on the front panel of the unit, this service should happen every two years maximum. This unit has to be fitted with our "KV30 combo valve", it is firstly a "Pressure Relief" valve for relief of hot water expansion due to heating of water and a flow control and gate valve. There is a "KV40 combo valve" which is similar to the KV30 with the addition of a "Pressure Reducing Valve", for those installations with more than 6 bar pressure. This Geysers 21kW element has the ability to heat water instantly to 40°C at a flow rate of about 10 litres per minute (@ 10°C incoming cold water temperature).
